The Kentucky Antler Company was a dream born out of the hearts of true sportsmen in search of the finest hunting experience anywhere, in short, the “Hunt of a Lifetime”.  The Reece family had always been avid hunters and fishermen and the love of the outdoors was inbred naturally, so in 2002 when the opportunity to purchase some prime Kentucky whitetail property came along, the dream became reality in the heart of Jonathan Reece.  Mr. Reece purchased the property and used it for a family hunting retreat for a couple of years, having good success and great fun. 

 

When the 1200 acre farm adjoining Mr. Reece’s farm became available for sale, the start of a new dream began.  Big Kentucky whitetails and old Kentucky boss gobblers got the Reece family thinking that a hunting and outfitting business would be perfectly suited to this new found sportsman’s paradise.  A nearby lodge became available, and after some amazing renovations, became a showplace of a hunting lodge.  With all the pieces of the outfitting puzzle falling into place, Bear Creek Outfitters and Hunt Lodge was founded.  Though moderate success with the early outfitter services was being achieved, the plan to become the premier outfitter in the state of Kentucky brought interest to expand the scope and reach of Bear Creek Outfitters.

This interest met opportunity when Mr. Reece was approached with the idea of merging Canoe Creek Outfitters in central Ky with Bear Creek Outfitters in Northeast Ky to become the premier outfitter of whitetail deer and elk hunts in the state of Ky.  This opportunity also became reality and the newly merged outfitter business became one and took on the name of Kentucky Antler Company.  With locations in central, northeast and southeast Ky they became strategically located to become the most dynamic outfitter in Ky.  With hunting lands on or near the sites of record setting deer harvests in Lewis and Garrard County, as well as being located in the heart of Elk country in southeast Kentucky, the Kentucky Antler Company has positioned itself to provide the best hunting experience to be found in the state of Ky.  With the years of hunting and guiding experience that the Reece’s and the Stewart family (of Canoe Creek Ranch) possess, the outfitting service has been taken to the highest level imaginable.  

 First class lodging is available at all locations, with home cooked meals that would impress your own mother.  The most knowledgeable and experienced guides in the industry are available to assist every level of hunter in taking the widest variety of game in Kentucky.   You can choose from whitetail deer, rocky mountain elk, wild turkey, pheasant, quail, chukar, bobcat, coyote as well as 26 different specie s of exotics ranging from bison, trophy rams and fallow deer to the more exotic African species like scimitar oryx, black buck antelope and greater Kudu.
